EXTON, PA, February 14, 2007 – Advanced Automation, a leading provider of technology solutions to manufacturers in North America, and EIAL – Engro Innovative Automation (Pvt.) Ltd., a global provider of industrial automation and engineering support products and services, announced today the formation of a joint venture that will enable Advanced Automation to localize its capabilities for its major Fortune 500 clients – and others companies – that do business on a global basis.

The new company, whose legal name will be Advanced Automation LP, will be known as Advanced Automation, with worldwide headquarters in Exton, Pennsylvania.

“This move is part of a global restructuring of our company,” said Robert Zeigenfuse, formerly president and CEO of Advanced Automation Associates, Inc., who will serve as President and CEO of the newly formed Advanced Automation LP. “It will make Advanced Automation much stronger, with significant working capital, and the ability to leverage the technology and business process knowledge from a global community.”

Russ Novak, Director of Consulting for ARC Advisory Group, commented that “This joint venture is an example of what must occur in the Flat World era if clients of solution providers are to gain the values needed to achieve true competitive advantage.”

“In the United States,” Zeigenfuse said, “Advanced Automation will continue to provide the same level of manufacturing technology solutions, support and service – in control systems, manufacturing execution system (MES) deployment, and technology support services – that has been the hallmark of our company for more than two decades and,” he added, “earned us ‘2007 System Integrator of the Year’ honors.

“Globally,” he explained, “we will support Engro Innovative Automation in its sales and support activities in Europe, the Middle East, China, and South Asia in offices formerly maintained solely by EIAL.

“In today’s world,” Zeigenfuse continued, “having a global presence is a business necessity for major manufacturers as well as the companies that support them. For Advanced Automation,” he said, “it is absolutely critical that we put in place the resources that ensure service consistency, regardless of location!

“’Location’ of our clients is an important consideration,” he noted, “whether it is Dubai or Denver. For that reason, we continue to expand our commitment to open local and regional offices to better serve our domestic customers, large and small,” adding that “we expect to open additional regional support locations throughout North America.”
