Advanced Automation Associates Selected Among “Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania” For Second Consecutive Year |

November 24, 2003 - Advanced Automation Associates, Inc. was recently named as
one of the "Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania." It's the second consecutive
year that the company has been a recipient of this honor.
Advanced Automation
Associates will be formally recognized on Tuesday, December 2, at the "Best
Places to Work in Pennsylvania" awards ceremony at the Hershey Lodge and
Convention Center (Hershey, PA), during which the rankings will be revealed.
The awards
program, created in 2000, is the first of its kind offered by a state. The
program is a public/private partnership of the Pennsylvania Department of
Community and Economic Development, Team Pennsylvania Foundation, Kuntz Lesher
LLP, Central Penn Business Journal, the Great Place to Work Institute, and the
Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.
This survey and
award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of
employment in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, benefiting the state's economy, its
workforce and businesses.
The "Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania" program is
made up of 100 companies split into two groups: 50 medium sized companies
(50-250 employees) and 50 large sized companies (more than 250 employees).
Advanced Automation Associates has been named one of the "Best Places to Work in
Pennsylvania" in the medium category for 2003. They were ranked 42nd in the
same category last year.
Founded in 1984,
Advanced Automation specializes in the development of real-time performance
management systems for the process manufacturing industry. The company employs
65 people in its Exton headquarters, and recorded revenues of $13.5 million in
2002.
The company has deep experience in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage
and commercial printing industries worldwide, working with such clients as
Campbell Soup; Centocor; General Mills; Johnson & Johnson; Keebler; Merck; RJR
Nabisco; Pillsbury; R.R. Donnelley; and Wyeth.
